Terms of Service

Last updated: February 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dev Downtime ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Dev Downtime is a free, informational dashboard that aggregates publicly available status information from third-party AI and developer tool providers. The Service displays status data sourced from each provider's own public status page API (e.g., Statuspage by Atlassian).

3. Observational Data — No Guarantee of Accuracy

The status information displayed on Dev Downtime is observational only and is not intended to be relied upon as authoritative, complete, or error-free. Specifically:

  • Status data is fetched from third-party status page APIs and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
  • Dev Downtime does not independently verify the operational status of any service. We reflect what each provider reports on their own status page.
  • Uptime percentages, reliability scores, grades, and rankings are calculated estimates based on limited historical data and may contain errors or omissions.
  • The Service may experience its own outages, data gaps, or processing errors that affect the accuracy of displayed information.
  • You should not make business, operational, or financial decisions based solely on data from Dev Downtime. Always consult each service provider's official status page and communication channels for authoritative information.

4. No Affiliation

Dev Downtime is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any of the services it monitors (including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor, GitHub, Codeium/Windsurf, or Tabnine). All product names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

5. Email Notifications

If you subscribe to email alerts, you agree to receive automated notifications about status changes for the services you select. Notifications are sent on a best-effort basis and may be delayed or missed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the Service at excessive rates.
  • Attempt to access administrative features, APIs, or data stores beyond what is publicly available.
  • Submit false or misleading information when subscribing to alerts.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dev Downtime and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages resulting from inaccurate status data, missed notifications, or service interruptions.

8. Affiliate Links and Sponsorship

Dev Downtime may display sponsored content or affiliate links to third-party products and services. When you click on an affiliate link and make a purchase or sign up, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Sponsored content is clearly labeled as such. Affiliate relationships do not influence the status data, reliability scores, or any other monitoring data displayed on the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Contact

If you have questions about these terms, please reach out via the contact information on our main page.
